Reverting to form

Anne Northup began her campaign on a "Fletcher can't win in the fall" theme.

When she saw that gained her no traction, she trotted out a few issues.

When she saw that also gained her no traction, she's reverted to "Fletcher can't win in the fall."

Sorry, Mrs. Northup, but the Republican voters see right through you. They are rejecting your divisive campaign. The polls, whether they are the Fletcher internal poll showing him ahead by 22 points, or the Survey USA poll showing him up by 12, are reflective of that. Fletcher is pulling away and you are slipping.

Your desperation is showing, be it your latest ad or your ill-advised exchange with Robert Stivers, or the comments that at least two sources have reported that you made at the Kentucky Right to Life dinner.

Your service to this state and to the Republican Party is honored by most within the GOP, but you are tarnishing and trashing your legacy by your ill-advised candidacy.

You'll earn the respect of all Republicans, even the most ardent Fletcher supporters, if you will stick to the issues and get off your "Fletcher can't win" mantra. The fact is that he CAN win this fall against any of the seven Democrat candidates.

Well anon 2:55, who are you gonna vote for?

Lunsford/Stumbo? Henry/True? What can you possibly see in either of those two slates?

This GOPer will not vote for ernie in November either. I may not necessarily vote for the Democrat candidate, I may just skip that race and go down the ballot to vote for Trey, Richie, Linda Greenwell, and hopefully Stan Lee and Ken Upchurch.

Or if Saint Ernie the Drunken Sailor really pisses me off I might just vote for the D, no matter who it is.

Well all I can say is you guys are idiots.

You have a good Republican governor, one who has been unfairly targeted by the Democrats, and you have sided with Greg Stumbo.

I'm not sure whether to be sad or angry or just feel sorry for you.

WHAT !
"this Republican will not be voting for Fletcher in Nov." and GOP'er won't either ? Why are you registered Republicans? There are more than enough Benedict Arnolds in the party as it is. Why be sheep in the flock of political ignorance ... think for yourselves.
Dr.Fletcher is a good and honest man doing the best that he can under a scorching, long seated corrupt democrat establishment. Evidently you are new to the political scene, for if you were not, you would know of the corrupt democrat machine that ruled this state for 33 years before we took control. And you would give it away ? What morons ...
