Need another good reason to despise Rick Pitino?
In 1995, Pitino was an ardent supporter of Larry Forgy in his campaign against Paul Patton.
In 2007, Pitino hosted a fundraiser for Steve Beshear.
We're not sure if it was the Boston or Louisville influences that warped his mind so greatly in a dozen short years.

Pitino actively supported Clinton in 1996 so your dig at both him and Louisville now rings somewhat hollow.

How about no attacking the greatest basketball coach in the land? After scandels and Eddie Sutton hit Kentucky, Ricky P built UK again and that is the ONLY reason it remains a contender for anything today. Understand him before you talk about him. Also, who really cares about the fundraiser? Did you know who had the fundraiser with him? Find out and run a piece about PAPA JOHNS next time, not the great basketball coach.
In 1996 Pitino's boss Dr. Charles T. Wethington, Jr. requested that Pitino represent the University and go to the Clinton campaign stop.
Jim "alzheimers" Bunning started saying that Pitino showing up was an endorsement of Bill Clinton!
Which it wasn't! But you can't convince Fixed Noise viewers of anything!
They live in a fantasy world where attackiing young children who lives where saved because of the SCHIP program is considered funny to them! Even though SCHIP was created in 1997 by a republican congress and the bill was sponsored by Newt Gingrich!
To the 13 in Congress who stood with Bush get ready to find a pink slip in your mail box when you go up for re-election. Whether they be repub or democrat!
