Minimum wage increase

Kentucky's minimum wage just went up.

That means the people at the fast-food joint are getting paid more to screw your order up.

Ain't it a wonderful world?

I believe that most fast food workers (at least those that have been on the job more than a couple of months) were already making more than minimum wage. This increase will force employers to also raise the wages of those that have worked their way up to a higher wage already. It will also cause employers to not hire as many new workers. Many of those that would have had the indignity of starting out at minimum wage will now remain unemployed. Bless those liberals.

Bigoted against whom? Stupid people who don't know the difference between a Quarter Pounder and a Big Mac, or are incapable of understanding the phrase "no onions, please?"

If that's the case, then yes. We proudly admit our bigotry against ignorance.

That last comment seems to have gotten to you.
You guys are doing wonders for Fletcher's reputation with all of the venom and hate you spew on this blog.
Keep up the good work...

Abe, we are not connected with Ernie Fletcher in any way except the fact that each of us individually, and collectively as collaborators on this blog, support him and his re-election campaign.

We're not on his staff, we don't work for his campaign, and none of us know him beyond being acquaintances.

We're just sick of seeing what the Democrats have done to this state for years, and what they've done to the first Republican governor in a generation, who has tried to change things for the better.

Whenever anyone purchases goods or services, they have a right to expect things to be right, no matter if they are ordering food at a drive-through window or paying to have their car repaired or whatever.
